Victoria is a licensed social worker and graduated from Monmouth University with a master’s degree in social work and a concentration in Clinical Practice with Children and Families. While attending school, she worked in various settings, including a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center, a partial care unit, and a private practice. While at these sites, Victoria gained significant clinical experience working with clients struggling with trauma, addiction, anxiety, and depression. However, over the past three years, while working as an individual therapist at a practice specializing in the holistic treatment of women, Victoria found her true passion in working with individuals struggling with eating disorders, poor body image, self-esteem, and other related issues.
Victoria is trained in multiple treatment modalities, including cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness therapies. In addition, Victoria believes that working with the mind and body in unison can be very powerful in the eating disorder recovery process, and she became a Trauma Informed Yoga Therapist in 2019. Through yoga practice, she aims to help individuals gain a new appreciation for their bodies and increase body awareness through gentle movement and breathwork. Victoria works compassionately with children, adolescents, and adults throughout their healing journey. She also works closely with the client's loved ones and other providers to ensure the best treatment to meet each individual's needs.
When Victoria is not working, she enjoys bringing her mini golden doodle to the park and spending time with her family. Victoria also loves traveling and discovering artsy coffee shops in her free time.
